The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) held a press conference to release its 11-point manifesto titled “My DU, My Manifesto” and it’s special logo for the upcoming Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections. ABVP’s DUSU Presidential , Rishabh Chaudhary, remarked, “ABVP’s strong and capable leadership in DUSU has earned the trust and support of students, and we have consistently worked in their interest. This year, we will continue our efforts to enhance the infrastructure of DU colleges, implement the ‘One Course, One Fee’ structure for PG courses, supplementary exams policy for final-year students, establish high-tech reading rooms in every college, effectively implement the National Education Policy (NEP), provide campus-wide Wi-Fi, introduce a single dashboard for grievance redressal, and organize job fairs through the placement cells, ultimately positioning DU at the top on the global stage.”

ABVP’s DUSU Vice-Presidential candidate, Bhanu Pratap Singh, stated, “The ABVP unit works year-round to address the concerns of students, while other student organizations only appear during election process. ABVP has a clear vision for skill development, internships, workshops, and the introduction of industry-oriented courses. We also aim to strengthen academic systems and encourage socially useful research. The trust students have placed in ABVP will surely lead to our victory on all four seats this year.”

ABVP’s DUSU Secretary candidate, Mitravinda Karnwal, said, “ABVP’s leadership has worked towards creating a positive atmosphere in DU and made considerable efforts for women’s empowerment. This year, we plan to ensure the availability of women hostels in every college, construct new hostels, form functional Internal Complaints Committees (ICC), provide sanitary napkin vending machines and incinerators in every college and women-hostel, and build accessible infrastructure and assistive technology systems for differently-abled students. We will also form a special grievance redressal and Coordination Committee for students living in off-campus hostels. The overwhelming support for ABVP is clear, and we are confident that we will secure all central panel seats.”
