New Delhi : Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is currently running an ‘Anti-Ragging’ and ‘Anti-Eve Teasing’ signature campaign at the North Campus of Delhi University to raise awareness among students. Many students are actively participating in this campaign, which aims to unite students to create a ragging-free environment for new students and a secure campus for women. During this campaign, ABVP State Organising Secretary, Ram Kumar, and ABVP State Secretary, Harsh Attri, also joined the students.
To create a safe campus for women ABVP is running many creative campaigns and activities. ABVP also consistently demands the university administration to enforce strict rules against ragging. ABVP believes that being well-informed about both of these issues and creating awareness among students is crucial. Such awareness will help in decreasing unforeseen incidents of this nature. With this central aim, ABVP is conducting this signature campaign within the university campus.
ABVP Delhi State Secretary Harsh Attri, said, “To ensure a safe environment against ragging and for women on campus, ABVP is running this campaign among students. Being the main stakeholders, the Anti Ragging and Anti Eve Teasing campaign by the students will unite the students to make the environment of Delhi University safe and secure. The enthusiasm shown by students in this campaign has been truly encouraging.”
