Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has established college-wise helpline numbers to address the admission related queries and help the DU aspirants navigate the admission process with ease. The entire admission process has shifted online resulting in a completely new experience for the aspirants. Thus, ABVP, acting simultaneously with the release of the admission forms, released two helpline numbers for each of the eight DU college clusters in the national capital. ABVP also released google forms, a central WhatsApp number, a central helpline number and college-wise helpline numbers to provide prompt assistance and a hassle-free admission experience to the DU aspirants. Offline help-desks have also been installed at the varsity’s North Campus to address the admission related queries of students visiting the campus in a timely and effective manner. Cut-off percentages, essential documents, attestation, and course-college related questions constitute a major proportion of the total inquiries being made by the aspirants. Around 300 ABVP volunteers are presently engaged in helping the students by various means.
Sidharth Yadav, State Secretary, ABVP Delhi, said, “We are organizationally capable and ready to help the students and face the new set of challenges brought about by the online admission process. ABVP volunteers have been satisfactorily addressing the admission related doubts of students who are facing several problems due to the migration of the entire admission process online. We are hopeful of reaching out to the maximum number of students using google forms, central WhatsApp number, central helpline number and college-wise helpline numbers. ABVP extends its warm wishes to the DU aspirants.”
