Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad welcomes the proposal to hold a Joint Entrance Exam for admission to undergraduate courses in Central Universities from the session 2021-22. The proposal to hold a Joint Entrance Exam is in the interest of students.

The proposal to hold a common Joint Entrance Exam for students seeking admission to undergraduate courses, similar to the IIT JEE and NEET will provide economic, mental, physical relief for students and reduce the consumption of time, making the process hassle free.

Nidhi Tripathi, National General Secretary, ABVP, said, “The proposal to hold a joint entrance exam for admission to central universities will make admissions to subjects like science, commerce and humanities much simpler. It will felicitate the creation of a knowledge based educational environment, reduction of financial stress of the guardians, and will bring about an end to the race to just secure maximum marks and pave way for the students to study subjects of their choice.”
