Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi will be the chief guest in the 67th National Conference of ABVP to be held in Jabalpur from December 24. Shri Kailash Satyarthi is an Indian social reformer who campaigned against child labor in India and advocated for universal right to education. He received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 for his struggle against the oppression of children and youth and for the right of all children to education. He is the founder of several social activist organizations including Bachpan Bachao Andolan, Global March Against Child Labor, Global Campaign for Education and Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation.
It must be noted that the national conference of ABVP is going to be held on December 24-26 at Jabalpur. Participants from all parts of the country will participate in this conference. In this conference, youth will brainstorm and pass resolutions regarding the direction for the year. Shri Kailash Satyarthi will participate in the inaugural session of the convention and the distribution of the prestigious Prof. Yashwantrao Kelkar Yuva Puraskar.
